The course is 8 hours long and is comprised of a written legal exam, shooting qualification and firearms safety assessment. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a State Certified Official Certificate you will need to apply for your Concealed Carry Permit at your local Sheriff’s office.

ESSENTIAL ITEMS
You will need a functioning handgun with 30 rounds, shooting glasses and hearing protection to complete the shooting qualification. You will need a pen, note taking items, valid photo identification to complete the written examination.
• Students bringing their own firearm to the course are responsible for bringing the required ammunition and safety equipment.
• Students purchasing rentals will be supplied with a firearm, ammunition and required safety equipment.

DRESS CODE
Our classroom is indoors and climate controlled. If you run cold bring a hoodie, pullover or light jacket to wear in class. Our range is outdoors with covered areas. Based on the weather forecast bring appropriate clothing.For the range we recommend close-toed shoes or boots. Class will be held rain or shine.
